This double-ended tool aluminum seal installer fits on the open end of the previously essential J-22828 Tube Driver to install the output shaft seal in the 8L90 to a depth below flush of 3.5mm. The tube driver is used as a base tool instead of making the installer an extended length that requires extensive machining from a solid aluminum billet. DT-50896 installs the output shaft seal on the truck extension housing and the inner and outer output shaft seals on the Corvette extension housing.
